Ipsy Bag: February 2014

So it's time for another installment of my Ipsy Bag subscription.  My February bag just came in the mail yesterday and I was so excited to share it with y'all.  I can honestly say that would use ALL the items that were sent this month!  I don't think that's ever happened to me before - there is usually one dud in the bunch.  I am pretty picky about my makeup, but it's fun to try new things out.  That's exactly why I get this fun subscription.

So those are all the goodies I got this month.  I love how the Ipsy bag gives you a "full face" of makeup, and that all the products can be worn together or separate.  It makes so much sense.  I had another subscription service in the past that would repeat "like" items in the same month, so I ended my service (an in all honesty, the samples were just - meh).  I am so thankful to have found Ipsy, and for only $10 a month, it's worth every penny!

    I just subscribed, but haven't signed up for the monthly bag. I'm not a big makeup girl, so I'm hesitant that it'll be a waste of money for me.

      Jodi, it's only $10 per month and that includes shipping. For me it's a great way to test out new brands of products that I wouldn't normally pay full price for. A lot of the items they ship deluxe size and even FULL size items in your bag. Way over the $10 value. I usually pass along all my unused items to a friend that likes it. Let me know if you get a bag in the future :)

      Hey Ashley. I had Birch Box for a few years. I liked it, but found that I would only using1 or 2 products per box and I would rarely ever get use out of the other products. While I was fun to try things out I wanted a more "makeup/cosmetics" subscription. That's why I now only get the Ipsy bag. It's the same premise, $10 per month and that includes shipping. I love this one way better than Birch Box, but if you want more misc. / skincare Birch Box would be the subscription for you. Hope this helps :)
