Shop With Me: Target

Target is one of my all time HOLY GRAIL stores.  I mean who doesn't' love a store where you can buy fuzzy slippers, a beautiful lamp and stock up on groceries?!

This past weekend I went into my local Target to check out some of the new fall collections.

First stop was the Wit & Delight for Target.  I was not thrilled with the selection, it looked very picked over.  But it was a weekend, and my store is always super busy.  I was so looking forward to seeing a few of the items in person, but they were no where to be found.  I hope that next time I stop back, I'll be able to see some more selection.s

After that little jaunt, I headed over to the Altuzarra for Target .  I was so excited to see the Black Trench Coat, but my store never got any...  Boooooooo :(  I know Fargo, ND isn't exactly the MECA for fashion, but damn!  Oh and they sold out online within minutes of the launch.  Total bummer

I headed to the home décor section to see the new Nate Berkus fall collection, but my store didn't have the merchandise out yet.  But I am totally loving this Leaf Bowl.  I hope it looks good in person, once I finally get to see it.

As I was heading out with only my weekly groceries in tow, my eye was caught by theses "FOX" items.  There is a salt & pepper shaker and a sweet little butter dish.  I totally wanted to buy the butter dish, but I can't tell you the last time I used stick butter.  So I decided to opt-out of that purchase.  But I had to take a quick pic and show you all the cuteness!

All in all, it was kind of a disappointing trip.  But that's okay, I know Target will knock my socks off with some of the other collections in the future.  Can't wait to go back and see the home décor section re vamped for fall.

Hope you all enjoyed the post.  Talk to you all very soon!

Fashion Friday: Blue Hue

So last week I talked all about my recent fashion purchases and they all happened to be white.  But today I have a bit of a contrast, more like a BIG contrast.  It's all about the BLUE HUE today.

This trip all started with an awesome coupon from The Limited.  I get their direct mail so one of the coupons sent to me was $20.00 off any purchase...  So like any good fashion addict I said, YES PLEASE!

Coupons are my vice.  I must try and use them, but I try to make practical decisions.  So only about 1/2 of the coupons sent to me actually get used.  But I will be "that person" that gives their coupon away to other shoppers if I can't find anything that suits me.

Note:  all of the items listed were purchased with coupons - I know, I have a coupon problem.

Check out the fashion haul details below...

Top Left
The Ashton Blouse - The Limited

Top Right
Split Back Tank - Express

Bottom Left
Women's Classic Chambray Shirts - Old Navy

Bottom Right
Women's Long-Sleeve Terry Tees - Old Navy

Probably my favorite item is the Long Sleeve Terry Tee from Old Navy.  It's is soooooo soft!  It can be dressed up or dressed down.  I've only worn it dressed down, but I can't wait to style it a bit differently in the future.

Can't wait to share more with you all very soon!

Shop with me: Home Goods Fargo

Recently I've been getting more and more into home décor.  I have been inspired by some of the people I follow on Instagram  Their ideas are so great and it's fun to take a bit of design know-how from them and apply it to my everyday life.

That being said, I went to my local Home Goods recently and I had to share some of my favorite things...

The only 2 things that came home with me were the set of 2 wall prints and the blue dragon dog toy.  I'm not 100% sure where I'm going to put those prints, but I thought they were too special not to buy.  And if you know me at all, I really don't like "color", I usually one to want muted colors like greys, tans, and whites.  But something about these prints just sucked me in!

I've been thinking about purchasing two antelope heads, but I only found one at Home Goods.  It was the perfect size, but honestly I'd prefer them in a white or ivory color.  But it's still super cool, so I had to share!

Also this funny Telephone booth was just screaming to be photographed.  LONDON CALLING!!  haha  It was on clearance, but still priced at a whopping $500.00 - Wowzaz!  This is not my style at all, but it's one of those fun pieces you can't help but take a look at, no matter what your home style.

That's it for now, from Home Goods.  I could seriously spend hours and hours in this store, just looking at everything.  It's so fun to go back to see all the new displays and new inventory.  Seems like it's constantly changing.

Catch you all on the next blog
